The Road Traffic Management Learnership was developed by the Department of Community Safety & Transport Management. It is focused on providing knowledge and skills in the Road Traffic Management field.
This learnership is available to all unemployed youth who are open to seeking out work experience and a possible career in this field.
The department intends to promote the representation of people of all races, genders, and disabilities. Those represented will be in the placement of said programme.
An indication of this instance will make the processing of applications much smoother. Female, Coloured, Indian, and White candidates are encouraged to apply for this learnership.
Closing Date
Applications for the Road Traffic Management Learnership close on 11 June 2021.

This learnership is held in Mahikeng, North West province.

The Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, based in the North West province works toward the vision of safe communities and effective transport service.
The entity is committed to promoting community and road safety, exercising civilian oversight of police, and coordinating transport services through an integrated approach.
About this learnership
The Road Traffic Management Learnership functions as a training programme, providing relevant knowledge and skills to candidates.
It is aimed toward unemployed youth who are willing to gain work experience and skillsets from the Road Traffic Management field.
The programme lasts for 12 months and successful candidates will be paid R3000 per month.
Requirements
Applicants will need to have completed Matric or have an NCV L4 certificate. Applicants will need to be between the ages of 18-35 years old and must be able to do strenuous exercise.
How to apply
Applications will need to be sent in on the new Z83 employment application form. It is required to be fully completed (compulsory) and signed with a date.
If applicants use the incorrect forms instead of Z83, they must consider their application disqualified from the selection. The Z83 form can be found here: www.dpsa.gov.za
Candidates will need to be accessible for selection interviews on a date determined by the department. The department will determine which successful applicants will be in communication through shortlisting.
All appointments will be determined by verification of qualifications, along with security clearance and evaluation. Individuals with a foreign qualification must provide an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority.
Candidates will need to show the reference number and center in their application. Please be aware that learners who have been in a previous learnership with public service will not be accepted.

- A valid driver’s license
- SAPS clearance certificate
- Recent Medical Report Certificate
- Proof of residence
- An updated CV with at least 3 relevant references
- Certified copies of any other qualifications
