Smollan is offering a number of learnership opportunities within the Brand and Retail Industry. The programmes are open to students/ graduates residing in Gauteng and aim to equip the candidate with valuable work experience.
The following learnership opportunities are available:
1) Admin Learnership:
- Job type: Permanent
- Salary: Market-related
2) Trainer Learnership:
- Duration: 9-12 months
- Job type: Contract
- Salary: Market-related
3) Field Manager Learnership:
- Duration: 9-12 months
- Job type: Contract
- Salary: Market-related
4) Product Consultant Learnership:
- Duration: 9-12 months
- Job type: Contract
- Salary: Market-related
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
1) Admin Learnership:
- Must reside within Gauteng province
- Must be unemployed
- Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
- Must have no more than 1 year of secretarial or admin experience (preferably in FMCG/ retail)
- Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Must have sales objective achievement skills
- Must have excellent financial management skills
- Must have excellent timekeeping capabilities
- Must be highly organised
2) Trainer Learnership:
- Must reside within Gauteng province
- Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
- Must have no more than 1-year work experience
- Must have high attention to detail
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a Driver’s licence (advantageous)
3) Field Manager Learnership:
- Must reside within Gauteng province
- Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
- Must have no more than 1-year work experience (preferably within the retail sector)
- Must be unemployed
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a Driver’s licence
4) Product Consultant Learnership:
- Must reside within Gauteng province
- Must be unemployed
- Must have completed Matric/ Grade 12
- Must have no more than 1-year of work experience
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a Driver’s licence
- Must have a key understanding of technology and retail
