Clicks Pharmacy Assistance Learnership 2021-2022
The Clicks Group is offering the opportunity for a fortunate candidate to join its Pharmacy Assistance Learnership program.
The purpose of this learnership will have the candidate complete a Pharmacy Assistance program, gaining both theoretical and practical knowledge through an accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy.
The program leads to a qualification that is filed on the National Qualification Framework (NQF), ensuring efficient training
The Clicks Pharmacy Assistance Learnership focuses on high school graduates with competency in numeracy, literacy, and other essential qualities.
The learnership also looks for particular skills in a candidate that ensure the learner will successfully complete their training and assessments.

About the Learnership
The Clicks Group have the following learnerships available:
Basic Learnership Program
The candidate will be required to complete the following qualifications:
- National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Program
- Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistant
These qualifications will need to be completed through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy.
The program will consist of practical and theory training. The Learnership contracts will be administered at registered Clicks Pharmacy, supervised by an approved tutor.
The candidate will be responsible for providing support to a Clicks Pharmacy Healthcare team. This will all be under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Candidates are required to attend the necessary training courses and complete competency assessments and submit a Portfolio of Evidence.
After the learnership has been completed, the candidate will be required to comply with a work-back contract made with Clicks.
The candidate will then work as a qualified pharmacist for a time equal to the duration of the learnership.
Pharmacist Assistant Learnership Program
The candidate will be required to complete the following qualifications:
- National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Program
- Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistant
These qualifications will need to be completed through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy.
The program will consist of practical and theory training. The Learnership contracts will be administered at registered Clicks Pharmacy, supervised by an approved tutor.

Basic Learnership Program
- The candidate is required to have a completed Matric with a minimum pass mark of 50% for Mathematics or 60% for Maths Literacy, and 50% for English.
- The candidate will need excellent skills in the following aspects:

- Literacy
- Computer literacy
- Customer service
- Attention to detail
- Accuracy
- Integrity
- Team player
- The candidate will also need to be competent in the following:
- Planning
- Organizing
- Compliance
- People skills
- Please be aware that preference will be awarded to candidates who meet Clicks’ EE targets according to the employment equity plan, meeting the promotion of the National Agenda for the development and growth of unemployed youth in South Africa.
