DETAILS ABOUT THE PROGRAMMES:
Location: KwaZulu-Natal
AfriSam South Africa is offering a Learnership and In-service training opportunity, with one position available in each.
The In-service training programme will run for 12 months and will allow students studying Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering to gain on-the-job, practical training, which is essential for their qualification.
The Learnership programme will aid the candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a qualified Artisan.
The learnership has opportunities within the following fields:
- Learnership: Fitter Trade
- Learnership: Boilermaker Trade
- Learnership: Electrician Trade
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
In-service training:
- Must be studying towards a qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Must have an academic track record with a 65% minimum average
- Must have excellent academic results
- Must have excellent behavioural standards
Learnership:
- Must be interested in pursuing a career in one of the trades of the programme: Fitter, Boilermaker or Electrician
