Learnership programs offered by NAMPAK are for an 18-month period. Successful candidates will receive a monthly allowance but must provide their own accommodation, own food along with their own transport for the duration of their learnership. The company offers a 12-month learnership with a monthly stipend to successful candidates. A permanent position is not guaranteed and this learnership program does not include transport, meals or accommodation.
Engen Learnership Requirements
Individuals who wish to apply for a learnership with Engen must meet all stipulations to be eligible. Only candidates who are under the age of 24 may apply and only if they are unemployed. Here we have listed some of the stipulation, yet, there may be others as well, and these will be stated on their website and the application once their learnership program opens.
The basic stipulation may include the following:

- Applicants must hold a Matric or Grade 12 certificate
- All applicants must hold a diploma or degree in the field of application
- Candidates must have had Physical Science and Pure Mathematics as subjects

Once the learnership program closes a shortlist will be made of potential candidates and only these will be contacted by Engen for the next step. Candidates who do not hear from Engen in a month or two after the applications have closed can assume their application has been unsuccessful.

Closing dates for learnerships provided by Engen are around the middle of May or October every year. This company may also have altered closing dates for their different operations.
