National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA) is inviting all unemployed applicants to apply for the ongoing 24 and 18 months Graduate / Internship Programme.

National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA)  Invites applications from qualified unemployed graduates to apply for the NMISA Internship programme 2020 / 2021.

The Following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

Human Resource Intern

  • Three-year tertiary qualification in: Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification will be an advantage

Chemistry Intern

  • Three-year tertiary qualification in: Chemistry or equivalent qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification will be an advantage

Safety Health Environment & Quality (SHEQ)

Three-year tertiary qualification in:

  • Safety Management
  • Environmental Science
  • Quality Management
  • or related field

Supply Chain Management

Three-year tertiary qualification in:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Logistics

Understanding of all relevant legislation (PFMA, PPPFA, Constitution, etc.

Competencies:

  • Proactively creating and taking advantage of learning opportunities through active participation by, for example, taking notes and asking questions
  • Using newly gained knowledge and skills on the job and learning through their application.
  • Strong attention to detail when performing work tasks to avoid errors
  • Competent in MS Office Software package;
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Planning and Organising skills
