ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
SPAR South Africa was established in 1963 and currently has 6 distribution centres and 1 Build it distribution centre, which supply goods and services to over 2 000 SPAR stores throughout Southern Africa.
SPAR South Africa has retailers in the following formats: SPAR, SuperSpar, KwikSpar, Spar Express, Tops, SaveMor, Build-IT and Spar Pharmacy.
DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: All provinces in South Africa
Duration: 12 months
Students are invited to apply to join the YES4Youth programme with SPAR South Africa. The programme will take place over a 12 month period, and only a Matric certificate is required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be between 18 and 28 years old
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must have passed Matric (NSC)
- Must have an FET qualification (advantageous, not essential)
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have NOT participated in +8months with YES4Youth previously
- Must be able to commit to the full 12-month work program

- Certified copies of your Identity Document
- A copy of your Matric certificate
- A copy of your most recent academic results, if applicable
Please note:
- Your application does not guarantee you will be selected for the YES program.
- Candidates must undergo a JumpStart training, work experience and SPAR/BuildIt interview process.
- There is NO charge for the programme or for the application.
- If you not get a response after 3 months of the closing, please consider your application unsuccessful.
