DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape

Capitec is offering a Graduate Development Programme to young candidates. As South Africa’s fastest-growing retail bank, Capitec has created this opportunity with the aim of allowing young individuals to join their Graduate Development Programme (GDP). During the programme, the candidate will learn how to help customers find a better way to the bank as well as gain a full view of the Capitec business and how it succeeds in making banking better and simpler.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

Must be a South African Citizen
Must have completed Matric (NSC) or Vocational Certificate in Grade 12 National Certificate
Must have a Degree or be currently studying towards a Degree in any of the following fields:
- Mathematics, Sciences, Statistics, Analytics (most streams)
- Engineering (all streams)
- Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
- Data and Digital Solutions
- Computer Science (IT/IS)
- Management and Business studies
- Communications and Public Relations
- Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics
- Business and Management Studies
- Behavioural Sciences
- Digital, Multimedia, Communication, Illustrative, Animation Design (EX Designers)
- Marketing
- Risk/ Credit, Project Management
- Law
- Human Resource Management
Must complete your Degree before 1 February 2022
Must have a Level 7 Degree in South Africa and have a grade average of 60%
Must NOT have a qualification that is higher than a Level 10 in South Africa ( i.e. a Doctorate, etc.)
Must have no more than 2 years of work experience
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Must be goal orientated (personal and work)
Must be able to meet all of the customer’s expectations
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Must be adaptable
Must be able to work in a high-pressured environment
Must be able to take on leadership and supervision roles
Must have a commercial and entrepreneurial way of thinking
Must NOT have a criminal record
Must be able and willing to work in an open-plan environment
