A Certified Qualification

With Sonke your studies happen wherever you are since the lessons are on your phone. Once you’re enrolled, you’ll become a Trader – this is the accredited 12-month New Venture Creation Course. After successful completion, you’ll receive an NQF Level 2 Certificate.

All qualifying and registered learners will be given FREE access to Sonke’s fun-filled online study portal and mobile Trader web app, packed with exciting deals and practical learning experiences.

Monthly Financial Support

Receive a monthly stipend of R1, 315.00 in your mobile app wallet while participating in our Learning Programs.

Part of it is paid into your Savings Wallet, which you can cash out for everyday living expenses, and the other part is paid into your Trading wallet. This enables you to flex your hustle muscle and learn to apply your new business skills.

What’s more, your stipend will fund a 30gig per month (10gig anytime + 20gig night-owl) data package to enable you to study and trade anytime, anywhere without worrying about data.

Trading For The Learners

By using the trading option on Sonke, you can make more money on top of what you earn from your stipend. This is the practical side of the app, you buy products in the app using the Trading Wallet section and make a profit selling these products to your neighbours.

What Do I Need To Qualify

  • Be a South African Citizen.
  • Be between the ages of 18-28.
  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Have access to a smartphone or computer.
  • Be a first-time entrepreneurial student.
  • Proof of a Grade 10 qualification.
  • Be able to receive and send emails, SMS and Whatsapp.
