DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Germiston, Gauteng
Duration: 12 months
Bearings 2000 (Pty) Ltd is offering a Learnership opportunity to candidates with the aim of equipping them with the knowledge and understanding of what it means to be a Sales Representative.
During the programme, the candidate will be fully immersed in this role as well as gain real-world sales experience that will be valuable to them. The candidate will also learn various sales responsibilities such as sourcing, quoting, and marketing strategies as well as work alongside the Germiston Branch’s sales team- this will grant them the opportunity to use their training to achieve various sales goals.
The successful candidate will be required to attend Bearings 2000’s training course during this period as well as be able to start ASAP.
Key Performance Areas of the Programme:
- Answering telephone calls from all customers and providing them with assistance (such as but not limited to interchanging and identifying products)
- Entering and maintaining all sales orders
- Ensuring that quote products are accurate and given to customers
- Sourcing from other suppliers
- Providing assistance to the sales team with strategic quotes and tenders
- Gaining exposure to all departments of the company
- Completing other duties as required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed Matric (NSC)
- Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Must have Sales experience (advantageous)
- Must have Customer Service experience (advantageous)
- Must be computer literate with knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office
- Must be hardworking
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must have strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Must be goal-driven
- Must be able to work successfully in a team
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be innovative and find solutions
- Must have excellent time management capabilities and the ability to meet all deadlines
