DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Ermelo, Mpumalanga
Contract Type: 1 year contract
Salary: Market Related

BKB are inviting candidates to apply for the 12- month Merchandising Learnership programme. Male and female candidates between the ages of 18 and 29 should apply. Once the programme is complete, learners will receive their National Certificate: Generic Management NQF 4.

The programme will consist of virtual classes, and practical (on the job training) as a Merchandiser at various branches. The programme is best suited to students who interested in building a career in retail, are very neat, hard-working and willing to give customers a great shopping experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be an EE candidate
  • Must have completed Matric (NSC)
  • Must be currently unemployed
  • Must be between 18 and 29 years old
  • Must be willing to work retail hours (Monday to Saturday)
  • Must reside in one of these areas: Barkley East, De Aar, Ermelo, Graaff Reinet, Heilbron, Port Elizabeth, Queenstown or Somerset East
  • Must have previous merchandising experience (advantageous but not essential)
  • Must be a team-player
  • Must have good Communication skills
  • Must have good Time Management skills
