DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: East London, Eastern Cape
Duration: 12 months

Mercedes-Benz South Africa is offering a ‘Shop Floor Skills’ learnership opportunity to youth interested in Shop Floor Management. This programme is open to candidates who present a keen interest in this field of study and are interested in partaking in training at a world-leading organisation.
The programme will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Learning Academy, located in East London and will officially commence on 1 October 2021.

This programme will allow the successful candidate to obtain an NQF-2 in Automotive Manufacture and Assembly, upon completion of the programme.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old
  • Preference will be given to candidates from the Eastern Cape
  • Must have completed one of the following qualifications:
    • Matric/ Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science as subjects. Advantageous: also completed these releated subjects: Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Automotive Repair and Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Design, Graphics, etc.
    • N3 with at least 4 subjects
    • Higher Technical Certificate with supporting languages at a Matric level or NVC level 4
