DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Kempton Park/ Benoni Gauteng
Duration: 9 to 12 months
Stipend: R3500 per month
Syntel is offering a 1-year learnership opportunity to a young candidate interested in the world of Business Administration. This is a unique opportunity aimed at enthusiastic, unemployed candidates from designated groups.
The aim of the programme is to allow the candidate to gain an NQF-4 in Business Administration upon completion, as well as work experience that will be valuable to them and their career. The candidate will also receive continuous training, mentoring, and coaching during the programme, as well as a portfolio consisting of both working and learning evidence.
Key Performance Areas of the Programme:
- Performing all the terms and duties that are set out by the learnership programme
- Ensuring that you actively participate in all the learning and working experiences set out by the programme
- Conscientiously participate in learning
- Ensuring general administration duties, filing, and data capturing are completed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have completed Matric or Grade 11 if living with a disability
- Have completed a post-Matric/ Grade 12 qualification (advantageous but not essential)
- Must reside within Gauteng
- Must be unemployed
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old
- Must be part of a designated group (i.e. disabled, Black, Indian, Coloured)
- Must be available for interviews
- Must be able to commence the learnership programme immediately
- Must have a willingness to learn and develop
- Must show initiative
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be able to complete all assignments and engage in self-study
- Must have excellent time management capabilities
- Must have excellent organisation skills
- Must have excellent planning capabilities
