What is Visa?
Visa Inc. is a multinational financial services company based in San Francisco, California.
It enables electronic cash transfers all around the world, most notably via Visa-branded credit cards, debit cards, and prepaid cards.
Visa is one of the most valuable companies in the world.
Visa does not issue cards, grant credit, or establish rates and fees for consumers; rather, Visa sells Visa-branded payment products to financial institutions, which they then use to offer credit, debit, prepaid, and cash access services to its clients.
According to the Nilson Report, a credit card industry journal, Visa’s global network (known as VisaNet) completed 100 billion transactions in 2014, totaling US$6.8 trillion.
What is This learnership Program?
This learnership program will last for a total of 12 months and teach unemployed candidates how to operate in the business administration field.
Candidates will also earn a Business Administration Servies NQF level 4 certificate once the learnership is successfully completed.
Please make sure you meet ALL of the following minimum entrance requirements before submitting your application because if you don’t, your application will be rejected:
- Must have finished Matriculation/Grade 12.
- Applicants must have passed Accounting and Maths/Math Literacy.
- Applicants must be South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 25 years.
- Candidates must be unemployed and not enrolled in any other learnership program.
