ABOUT THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE LEARNERSHIP:

Polokwane Chemical Suppliers (PCS) was established in 1993, when they began manufacturing chemical cleaning products in a family garage. Today, PCS is a fully operational manufacturing facility in the industrial area of Polokwane, where they occupy more than 2400m2 of manufacturing and storage facilities.

PCS aims to be a trusted leader for community and environmental commitment in our interactions with all of our stakeholders including partners, employees, customers and the local communities in which we operate.

Towards the end of 2015, they introduced their first leanership and bursary program in partnership with Chemical Industries Education & Training Authority (CHIETA). The program is geared towards empowering youth with a keen interest in the chemical industry; specifically chemical manufacturing and operations, laboratory and analysis as well as students pursuing a degree in analytical chemistry and industrial engineering.

DETAILS ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME:

Location: Polokwane, Limpopo
Duration: 12 months
Start date: 13 September 2021
Stipend: R4500 per month

Polokwane Chemical Suppliers (PCS) is inviting candidates with a National Diploma or Degree qualification to apply for Internship programmes at the company.

The company is contributing towards the skills development by providing internship opportunities to graduates who would like to gain work experience in the following fields of study:

Human Resources Internship
Chemical Engineering Internship

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
Human Resources Internship:

Must have completed Grade 12/ Matric
Must have completed a National Diploma qualification in Human Resource Management/ Development
Must have completed your studies at a TVET institution

Chemical Engineering Internship:

Must have completed Grade 12/ Matric
Must have completed a National Diploma or Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering
