What is Rand Assurance Mutual?
Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA) was created in 1894 as a mutual assurance business to insure and handle workers’ compensation benefits by three mining firms. In the same year, RMA became a public company, and as a Mutual, our policyholders automatically became shareholders.

What is This learnership Program?
Rand Mutual Assurance offers a Risk and Compliance Learnership Program.
The program will allow learners to obtain skills, information, and experience while also placing successful incumbents for active and meaningful labor market engagement.
Learners will be required to report to the Risk and Compliance department. This learnership will also last for a total of 12 months.
Requirements
Please make sure you meet ALL of the following minimum entrance requirements before submitting your application because if you don’t, your application will be rejected:
- Must have finished Matriculation/Grade 12.
- Legal, risk management, compliance management, insurance, and general company management are all areas of expertise.
- Required knowledge, skills, and competencies.
- Building Applied Learning Customer Satisfaction.
- Making a Difference in Team Success.
- Work Organization (Includes Time Management).
- Action Initiation Stress Tolerance.
- Eager to learn.
- Perspective on the entire project.
- Participant on a team.
