Telkom Internship Programme; With a view to enabling skills development and aiding in the employability of the South African youth, Telkom provides a number of workplace learning opportunities. Our internship and learnership opportunities are typically 12 months in duration and include theoretical training as well as practical on-the-job work experience.

Telkom Internship Programme Requirements

Applications are accepted yearly for a selection of internships to fill openings that may arise within all sectors of Telkom.

Candidates will also be required to have the following:

  • Candidates must hold a valid Matric certificate
  • Candidates must be a South African citizen
  • Candidates must hold a valid ID book/card
  • Candidates must not be colour blind
  • Candidates must hold a diploma or degree from a recognized institute of higher learning
  • Candidates with a degree or diploma within the selected discipline
  • Candidates must be MS as well as computer literate with an understanding of technology
  • Must be proficient in English (read, write & speak)
  • Candidates must not hold any kind of criminal record
  • Candidates must be willing to work at heights or within confined spaces
  • Candidates must be business-minded and have a passion to achieve their goals
